Mum’s Baklava

The client wanted to capture the difference in their baklava products compared to others, which is the way it’s made and its strong crunch. The aim was then to represent this motion, sound and feeling in the logo. The packaging colour palette also needed to be bold but relate to the product.

I used the texture of the baklava to create the background pattern on the packaging and took the green and pink from the pistachio and Turkish delight flavours. These all worked well together and created a strong contrast. I also created the crunch sound in the logo by making the letters seem as if they’ve been broken off.
